About Me
Trained originally as an actor then as a journalist, I have been telling stories professionally for over 25 years on stage, on screen and online in the UK, USA and Singapore where I've been based since 2009.
I have worked in TV, publishing, marketing and digital media startups as both a "creative" and a "suit" and I even built and sold my own content agency, Click2View, that served world class clients including AIA, Ben & Jerry's, Canon, Cisco, Citibank, Google, HSBC, Panasonic, Singtel, UPS & Visa.
In 2019 I founded content strategy consultancy Moore’s Lore Media. In 2023 I co-founded Pretty Neat Productions to develop original English IP for film and TV in Southeast Asia. And in 2024 I launched the Neal Moore | Pro-Human newsletter where I write about the conflict and confluence between humanity and technology.
I returned to acting in 2023 and have worked consistently in audio dramas, short films, TV series, commercials and corporate films. I am a credited author of audio dramas, screenplays, poems, short stories and a novel in progress. And as a speaker and communications coach, I help people and organisations tell better stories for business impact.
Along the way I have been featured in Asian Entrepreneur, Inc. ASEAN, Marketing Magazine, Mumbrella Asia, Singapore Business Review, South China Morning Post, The Guardian, on Australia+, BBC Asia Business Report, BBC Talking Business with Linda Yueh and Money FM.

"Our leadership team really took away some great new skills in the recent media and speaker training led and conducted by Neal. He was exceptionally engaging and the session was so enjoyable, the hours passed very quickly! I also came away from our 1-on-1 sessions in the last 12 months very well equipped with distilled thoughts and POVs on key relevant topics. It has been a fruitful journey and I would highly recommend Neal and his amazing team."
Mandy Wong, President, TBWA Singapore

"We’ve worked with Neal as a presentation coach, workshop trainer and keynote speaker, and he never fails to impress. He quickly understands our needs and adapts to deliver exactly what we’re aiming for.As a coach, he sharpens structure and visuals while honouring each presenter’s style. As a trainer, he engages the room and tailors the session to group dynamics. As a keynote speaker, he collaborates on topic selection and captivates audiences, earning the highest rating at our client event. If you need someone to elevate your presentation or event, he’s your guy."
Sherlyn Lee, Commercial Payments Analyst, Mastercard

"Neal is an enthusiastic and entertaining expert, it’s no wonder his LinkedIn Makeover session at the Asian Development Bank Innovation Fair generated such positive feedback. Oversubscribed from the start, the audience surrounded him when he came off stage clamouring for more insights and personal guidance on their profiles and content creation. I have no hesitation recommending Neal as both a speaker and trainer and look forward to having him back on stage, or screen, soon."
Dr. Susann Roth, Chief of Knowledge, Asian Development Bank

"When I joined Analytic Partners in APAC, we had almost no presence in Marketing Mix Modelling and needed serious market education fast. Partnering with Neal made all the difference. What set him apart wasn’t just the smart use of tech but his 20+ years of human experience as a journalist, filmmaker, actor, and connector. That blend of creative depth and practical efficiency meant we moved with incredible speed. Within months, we launched The CMO Office across Substack, YouTube, podcasts and went from unknown to recognised thought leaders in record time."
Nikki Taylor, APAC Marketing & Communications Director, Analytic Partners

"Neal tailored a media training program to suit our needs and bring a team with mixed levels of PR engagement up to a standard we’re proud of . I really appreciated the time he took to understand not only our business but the individuals in the business , their strengths and opportunities . His engaging approach to the training as well as his one-on-one follow ups meant that not only did we have a great experience , but took away important nuggets for our future PR engagements."
Gurpreet Ghuliani, Partner, Telstra Ventures

"I met Neal through a friend who highly recommended him for presentation coaching. I’m so pleased to have met and worked with him. He has infinitely improved my presentation skills and how I approach communication with others. Neal also worked with my team on communication techniques - they loved it! My team have not stopped asking when Neal will be back. I can confidently recommend Neal for 1:1 communication training, for team building and training. I’ll be using Neal again next year."
Asha Cugati, SVP Commercial Solutions Lead APAC, Mastercard

"I would recommend Neal to any organisation looking for a media and webinar trainer that is able to deliver training in a lively and effective way. He provided our executives with invaluable insight into how to prepare for speaking opportunities, and his robust understanding of the media and effective storytelling came through with useful examples, practical advice, and dynamic exercises."
Joyce Peh, PR, Social Media & Customer Communications Manager, UPS

"I highly recommend Neal. I collaborated with him on our go-to-market deck and brand narrative. Working with an external consultant can often feel daunting due to the need for vulnerability, but Neal has the superpower of making you feel completely at ease. This quality is crucial when engaging with external consultants. Neal helped me explore diverse ideas, offered valuable suggestions, and served as a soundboard for various concepts."
Melissa Laurie, Founder & MD, Oysterly Media

"In the production of our podcast campaign, we were introduced to interviewees who were accomplished professionals in their field but prone to mic-fright in the studio. Neal was key in preparing them, calming them and guiding them into inspiring conversations."
CHEW Ping Nan, Creative Director, Mediacorp

"Navigating the media space in Sri Lanka in not an easy task, but Neal has worked with media outlets across the country large and small, legacy and new media with such ease. He has brought dynamism and creativity to our program, and is one of our most in-demand consultants. The media outlets he has worked with have gone on to launch new business verticals, rethink their client servicing models and experiment with new and exciting technologies that will help them thrive in the increasingly competitive media space here."
